I took a trip to Estonia for Christmas… figured i should take my car to fix it up a bit… baaad idea. I spend the whole vacation on it! Also, when driving through Poland, take the road passing Warsaw! the highway is finished so even with the road tax, it is totally worth it (driving back to DK on it was sooo much easier then taking the other road when driving towards estonia!) so grazy road-trip, repairs, new year’s in riga, another road trip and an unexpected week off afterwards should sum it all up :)
And goodbye to the best year in my life so far! just have to hope theres some more like that in stock for me! :)
So i finally managed to find a place of my own… discovered a really cheap offer (dkk1200 ()/month) it was located in the middle of nowhere… tiny village called filskov but since it was as close to work as grindsted and seeing as i spend all my weekends in arhus or other places anyway, i just took it without even seeing it first. when i got the keys though, i was in for a suprise- The place turned out to be real nice ^^ click the image for more photos.

So last time i was visiting renars, liina and evaldas i kept passing by this thing on the wall for a day until i realized that on it was my very first published photo :D didnt have a clue… the school IT guy had asked for my photos to use on the website when i was still studying there… guess they picked it up from him. Alos in this article http://stiften.dk/odder/odder-hoejskole-faar-sit-eget-tv-show
For the last month or so ive been living next to this little place called Grindsted. Its a small town with a population of 9,548. Small, nice, cozy but pretty much dead when it comes to entertainment it seems (as long as you dont have many friends around i guess). So heres a small visual journey to and through the town
So some weeks ago (yeah, i should really update more often) i went to this fair thing. apparently it took place for the 281’st time and during 3days they get around 300 000 visitors… kinda mind boggling but it was actually kinda nice despite all the rain and mud.
Well, working life is more fun then expected- lots of challanges but im enjoying it :)
After all, you can always relax and enjoy the blissful south jyttland nature in the end of the day ;)
Well, Hojskole is over. I had a nice chill time in Estonia for a few weeks and now i will be heading back to Denmark.
I shall Start working In an architecture company- dealing with websites, photography, 3D/visualization, print, etc.
Should be pretty fun, looking forward to it! So my new home base will be in the countryside close to Billund/Grindsted.
As sad as it might be, all things come to an end. This Semester in Odder Hojskole was really a blast and im grateful for being able to take part in it. The social experience you can get in a place like this is absolutely unique. I will sure miss the place. Well, the people mostly- In the end it felt like we had known each other for ages. Eh, times go on, cant stay stuck in a bubble of denial, i will stay in denmark for a while it seems so im sure il meet many familiar faces sooner or later ;) til then, see ya all and thanks for the wonderful time and moments!

Didnt get much done during the last weeks of hojskole. In the end everyone got a piece of wall to display their better pieces… that was mine. a few closeups inside the post.
So we had a School trip to Krakow in the beginning of april… it was quite fun. So in conclusion 2x16h bus rides, fancy main square/center, old and ragged streets when you took a walk further from the centre. lots of snoring in the hostel, lots of drinking (open bar was brutal!) paint ball (kamikaze style ftw!), enjoying te sun and good company… and best kebabs ever! ^^
loads of photos coming up if you click more
I have been quite late with the updates so heres loads of post.
Anyways, in march or april i got a reply from animwork… didnt get in, hell, didnt even make it to the admission test this year round. So now im busy looking for work… Denmark/England/Germany lets hope i find something soon since hojskole is close to ending and il be out there with nowhere to go :/ oh well… Theres also a few images of stuff we have been busy with.
Well, a year has passed. I’ve learned a lot, i’ve practiced a lot and i gave it the best i could with 8 months and no funds for professional teaching. So heres the new and improved portfolio for applying to 2011 CGart line in http://www.animwork.dk/
See it here:

I think its quite an improvement over the last year’s application (linky) but we shall see… keeping my fingers crossed
Hello there! heres a little update of what i have been doing for the past weeks (when not drinking)
as ive said before, i took Model drawing, drawing & graphics, painting, creativity & form and photography classses… they’ve been quite fun and ive made a few things so if youre interested theres a lot more once you hit “continiue”
It is time to return to Denmark! I signed up for a semester in a danish “hojskole” wiki link in order to kill half a year and to get some practice with my hobbies and such (its a perfect place for that!). For the subjects i chose photography (with film!) drawing, model dawing, creativity and form, painting/history, yoga, choir and beginners music. So far, most of the first week has been filled with introduction activities and a few classes but it sure has gone beyond all my expectations, its really great in here- good atmosphere, nice people, great teachers, lots of motivation and a cozy social setting. Quite happy for coming here!
theres loads of photos from the first week if you hit “more”
finally got this out of my neck… a little project started way back in 2006… hindered by years in denmark and such- figured i might as well finish it.
overall, its a custom-made computer case. My aim was to make it with no budget… just to put it together out of stuff found around home… which i did. full worklog in here: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=123714 and more finished pictures when you hit “more”
