Had a nice christmas vacation… Latvia->estonia->finland. Since i’m home like once per year, i figured that i should take some photos so i wont forget how it looks like :D
Unfortunately i had my camera in the repairs so i had to use my ancient nikon D40 that i had left for my parents when i upgraded a few years ago… so i didnt really bother doing it that properly… so some images are a bit funky ;)
I took a trip to Estonia for Christmas… figured i should take my car to fix it up a bit… baaad idea. I spend the whole vacation on it! Also, when driving through Poland, take the road passing Warsaw! the highway is finished so even with the road tax, it is totally worth it (driving back to DK on it was sooo much easier then taking the other road when driving towards estonia!) so grazy road-trip, repairs, new year’s in riga, another road trip and an unexpected week off afterwards should sum it all up :)
And goodbye to the best year in my life so far! just have to hope theres some more like that in stock for me! :)
So I had some free time and i figured i could try building a camera stabilizer. Here are a few things i Learned in the process that could have been useful to know before starting.
finally got this out of my neck… a little project started way back in 2006… hindered by years in denmark and such- figured i might as well finish it.
overall, its a custom-made computer case. My aim was to make it with no budget… just to put it together out of stuff found around home… which i did. full worklog in here: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=123714 and more finished pictures when you hit “more”
Well, not much- in june after the army i took time off to prepare for another shot at animwork so i have been drawing like hell. Also signed up for a 6 month course in a folkhojskole in Denmark starting in january. til then its just slow ticking with lots of drawing… and all kinds of other things life throws at you. heres a little sum-up.
8 months have passed. im finally free to do as i please. It was all just one aweful experience, didn’t gain anything except valuing time more after seeing it wasted like that! could critizise and moan forever but since theres some laws against it that im too lazy to get familiar with, il just leave it at that and try to start up with my life instead….
so all i can give you is a few photos (which is also not allowed but whatever, dont see any harm in it…)

So far ive spent all my weekends off the army on the hill :)

Ahhh, its good to be home again.
I got really lucky with the weather, its so nice and sunny yet breathable compared to athens.
its so quiet… all you can hear is the wind while looking at the hypnotic dance of the grass.
Somehow the nature has become much more wild in these 2 years… the fields are full of lush grass, plants and bushes… its quite a sight, very relaxing… sure as hell am going to bitch obout the rain in a few days though ^^
