For the last month or so ive been living next to this little place called Grindsted. Its a small town with a population of 9,548. Small, nice, cozy but pretty much dead when it comes to entertainment it seems (as long as you dont have many friends around i guess). So heres a small visual journey to and through the town
So some weeks ago (yeah, i should really update more often) i went to this fair thing. apparently it took place for the 281’st time and during 3days they get around 300 000 visitors… kinda mind boggling but it was actually kinda nice despite all the rain and mud.
Well, working life is more fun then expected- lots of challanges but im enjoying it :)
After all, you can always relax and enjoy the blissful south jyttland nature in the end of the day ;)
As sad as it might be, all things come to an end. This Semester in Odder Hojskole was really a blast and im grateful for being able to take part in it. The social experience you can get in a place like this is absolutely unique. I will sure miss the place. Well, the people mostly- In the end it felt like we had known each other for ages. Eh, times go on, cant stay stuck in a bubble of denial, i will stay in denmark for a while it seems so im sure il meet many familiar faces sooner or later ;) til then, see ya all and thanks for the wonderful time and moments!
Fun facts:
- time: 5 months
- Hard alcohol consumption: 15 Litres
- cider: 144 cans
- beer/misc: ?who knows?
And a few select shots from past few months inside the post, full galleries on fb here and here
One of the classes i chose in odder was Analogue photography.
Basically a quick introduction to developing your film and photos after which you were good to go- the dark room and chemicals were available at all times, there were some tasks during classes but overall you could just shoot some films for fun.
Heres most of my stuff that turned out ok. (shot with nikon f55, the blurry dark ones are with lomo fisheye.. terrible stuff)
So we had a School trip to Krakow in the beginning of april… it was quite fun. So in conclusion 2x16h bus rides, fancy main square/center, old and ragged streets when you took a walk further from the centre. lots of snoring in the hostel, lots of drinking (open bar was brutal!) paint ball (kamikaze style ftw!), enjoying te sun and good company… and best kebabs ever! ^^
loads of photos coming up if you click more
Loads of images frome the last few weeks in no specific order…

Hello there! heres a little update of what i have been doing for the past weeks (when not drinking)
as ive said before, i took Model drawing, drawing & graphics, painting, creativity & form and photography classses… they’ve been quite fun and ive made a few things so if youre interested theres a lot more once you hit “continiue”
Things are great, life is good. The only downer is the damn flu!
Just some shots from last week or so….
It is time to return to Denmark! I signed up for a semester in a danish “hojskole” wiki link in order to kill half a year and to get some practice with my hobbies and such (its a perfect place for that!). For the subjects i chose photography (with film!) drawing, model dawing, creativity and form, painting/history, yoga, choir and beginners music. So far, most of the first week has been filled with introduction activities and a few classes but it sure has gone beyond all my expectations, its really great in here- good atmosphere, nice people, great teachers, lots of motivation and a cozy social setting. Quite happy for coming here!
theres loads of photos from the first week if you hit “more”
Here’s a little birthday present for myself. At first i wasnt sure if i would need it but since birthdays are usualy present-less, it was super cheap on amzon and i had just got paid for a website, i figured i could just go for it. Im glad i did, havent taken it off the camera yet- its just awesome!
Well, not much- in june after the army i took time off to prepare for another shot at animwork so i have been drawing like hell. Also signed up for a 6 month course in a folkhojskole in Denmark starting in january. til then its just slow ticking with lots of drawing… and all kinds of other things life throws at you. heres a little sum-up.
- population of 2,189 (as of 1 November 2009)
- Otepää is a popular skiing resort, popularly known as the “winter capital” of Estonia
- It is the site of an annual FIS Cross-Country World Cup event.
- The earliest surviving firearm in Europe has been found in the ancient castle of Otepää and it dates to at least 1396.
So a while ago i took a a long desired trip to the “museum” to get some inspiration.
The place is called “Estonian aviation museum” . The display isnt that huge but considering our population of 1,3million and that this was started as a private project its rather nice- good enough to kill atleast an hour.
